Towards 6G-V2X via Semantic Communications

This project aims to conduct a thorough investigation into the integration of Semantic Communication (SEM-COM) into Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) systems, marking a crucial advancement in our journey towards the 6G frontier (Noor-A-Rahim et al., 2022). It will highlight the progressive evolution of SEM-COM, moving away from conventional data-centric approaches towards an inherently intelligent and context-aware architecture. By detailing the enhanced design of network architectures to accommodate this transition, the project will present an SEM-COM framework customized to meet the complex requirements of modern vehicular communication systems.
